A $3,000 coaching
program. Rebuilt as
a $19.99/month app.
Business credit coaches charge thousands to share vendor lists and approval tips. We built a self-serve platform with the same intelligence - and delivered it in 20 days.
The Problem
Founders were paying
$3,000 for a PDF and
a Zoom call.
Business credit coaching is a $500M+ industry built almost entirely on information asymmetry. Coaches sell "vendor lists" and "approval strategies" for $1,000-$3,000+ - information that's discoverable, systematizable, and deliverable as software. The founder came to Cr3ativeSparx with one question: why doesn't this exist as an app?
Vendor intelligence was gatekept behind $1,000+ programs
Which vendors actually report to D&B, Experian Business, and Equifax Business? Which approve new LLCs? What's the minimum purchase? None of this existed in a structured, searchable format - it lived in coaching programs and scattered forums.
Founders were applying blind - and getting rejected
Without knowing approval likelihood before applying, business owners would apply to the wrong vendors at the wrong time, accumulate rejections, and stall their credit-building timeline. Each wasted application set them back weeks.
Everyone knew about Tier 1 vendors - nobody knew what came next
The business credit tier system (Tier 1 -> Tier 2 -> Tier 3) was loosely understood but never mapped to a founder's actual profile. There was no "here's where you are, here's what to do next" tool that updated as your credit grew.
Founders were applying before their business was set up correctly
Missing a DUNS number, using a personal address, not having a business bank account - small foundation gaps that caused rejections nobody could explain. The checklist existed in coaching programs. It needed to be software.
Module 01 / Discover Vendors Dashboard
A guided vendor dashboard that shows what to do next.
The main vendor view combines onboarding prompts, matched vendor cards, credit potential, tips, and foundation progress in one workspace. Instead of dropping founders into a raw database, the system shows the next action first: finish the foundation, unlock beginner-friendly vendors, and track readiness from the sidebar.
- Getting-started cards route users toward foundation setup and first vendor unlocks
- Matched vendor cards show tier, bureau reporting, approval percentage, limit range, and match score
- Credit potential and foundation progress stay visible in the right sidebar
- Tips translate platform state into practical next steps
Module 02 / Vendor Directory
Search, filter, sort, and unlock vendors from a structured catalog.
The vendor directory turns a static vendor list into an operating tool. Users can search by name or credit type, filter by tier, industry, readiness, unlock status, and favorites, then scan locked vendor cards with credit cost, bureau reporting, limit range, and approval data before spending an unlock.
- Search and filters support tier, industry, credit type, readiness, unlocked status, and favorites
- Best-match sorting keeps beginner-friendly and profile-ready vendors near the top
- Locked cards preview key signals before users spend credits
- Pagination supports a 150-vendor catalog without overwhelming the first screen
Module 03 / Business Profile
A business profile that turns setup details into trust and readiness scores.
The profile screen captures the inputs that drive vendor matching: business email, entity type, industry, company age, active credit accounts, NAICS code, and verification status. The trust score panel turns those details into a visible credibility rating with a breakdown of which signals improved the score.
- Profile completion shows users how much setup information is still missing
- Email status and risk score summarize profile quality at a glance
- Business fields collect the data used for matching and approval logic
- Trust score breakdown explains why the profile qualifies for stronger vendor paths
Module 04 / Credit Foundation
Foundation progress is always tied to vendor access.
The Discover Vendors dashboard keeps foundation progress beside the vendor list, so users can see why certain vendors are available and what blocks the next tier. Credit potential, completion percentage, checklist status, and tips all reinforce the same idea: better profile setup unlocks better vendor opportunities.
- Credit potential stays visible before users start unlocking vendors
- Foundation progress shows the percentage complete and the remaining tier gate
- Checklist status makes missing setup items explicit
- Contextual tips explain how to move from setup work to vendor approvals
Module 05 / Business Marketplace
A marketplace for the services founders need before they apply.
The business credit system does not stop at vendor recommendations. The marketplace turns missing foundation items into partner and service recommendations, starting with entity formation and bookkeeping. Users can move from diagnosis to action without leaving the credit-building workflow.
- Foundation services are prioritized when profile requirements are incomplete
- Marketplace catalog groups services by business need, starting with bookkeeping
- Partner cards show price, description, reviews, and visit actions
- The service layer creates an expansion path beyond the vendor database
I was about to pay $2,500 for a business credit course. This system has everything that course would've covered - and it updates as my profile changes.
Measured Outcomes
What the platform delivers.
Based on platform data and early user feedback. Client financials withheld at request.
How It Happened
The same sprint.
Every time.
Every Cr3ativeSparx build follows a structured 20-day framework. The founder saw progress at Day 5, Day 10, and Day 15 - and went live on Day 20 as committed.
Discovery & Architecture
Mapped the full vendor data schema, designed the tier logic system, defined the credit scoring algorithm, and spec'd the unlock/credit model. Founder approved architecture before build began.
Core Platform Build
Vendor database live with 100+ vetted entries. Approval likelihood scoring engine running. Foundation checklist implemented. Auth and user profiles functional.
Tier Engine & Monetization
Tier progression logic deployed. Credit/unlock system built. Free vs Pro gating implemented. Stripe integration for $19.99/month and $99/year billing.
QA, Onboarding & Launch
Full QA pass across all tier transitions and billing paths. Onboarding flow finalized. Production deployment. Founder's first paying user signed up on Day 22.
